Wednseday is my new holiday!

Hi all, I am sorry that I might be a little late to blog about this but then again, I rather be late to blog about it than not blog about it at all … especially when I took so many amazing selfies with so many amazing people that day 😀 I realise that I am in the middle of another amazing festival which I will definitely blog about (Oxford Lindy Exchange 2015 😉 ), I still think I must chip my 2 pennies in regarding last Wednesday’s dancing. Boy, that was too darn hot … (see the reference? … LOL) xD

So, I went to Moonshine Alley Vintage Jazz Club last Wednesday. I couldn’t make it on time for the class. I manage to get in for the last 10 minutes of the class … shame I missed, it looked really amazing and bloody difficult. Lots of spinning and twists and what not. Oh well, next time … perhaps.

So there was a live band called Natty Congeroo & The Flames of Rhythm. It was my third time I heard Natty live. They are really energetic and really good band! I cannot express enough how awesome they are! I really loved every single song of theirs! They are full of energy. They do not focus on extremely fast songs, I believe they are really good at tailoring the tempo for the audience! I love their song called “Joshua fit for the battle of Jericho” or whatever it’s called … I love that song and pretty much every other song they performed. I love how Natty is engaging with the audience – he comes out and starts clapping and everybody who does not dance (there weren’t that many really) start clapping as well. Sometimes he starts solo jazz which is amazing. I mean, he is really awesome dancer! I have a big respect for this man and I shall always come to his performances! The dance floor was PACKED and the floor craft was really NICE! It does not happen a lot in London.

The whole evening was amazing. According to Facebook, there were supposed to be over a hundred people there. I am not sure how many there were but I don’t think there were that many. I believe there were 90 or so but nevertheless, it was epic night. DJing was also amazing. The DJ made it into my favourites now! Yes, I do have quite a few now 😀 Unfortunately, Moonshine Alley Vintage Jazz Club does not do live bands every week. Once or twice a month perhaps. I will be always coming to this venue when they have live band on. Problem is though, driving to South West London from Hertfordshire is a bit of pain. Luckly, the traffic was not too bad last Wednesday. I must remind that classes here are top notch. I remember coming to Club Savoy in Kentish Town (I even used to blog about the classes quite intensively) when the classes were on, teachers would teach hardcore stuff here but now since some teachers moved to South West, it is challenging to come here every Wednesday.

To sum this event up, if you didn’t come to this event, you missed out a lot. There was a lot of dancing … great atmosphere, great performance, amazing time … great mid-week swing fix! Oh, if you read this post and see me at OLX 2015, come and say hi and lets have a selfie okay (don’t worry, I am good at taking selfies and I keep improving 😀 )? And as always, this post is sponsored by so many selfies and stuff.
